Universal DIN rail mounted EMC filters are IP20 rated. In addition to filters for power supply systems, a filter with built-in surge protection for instrumentation signals is also available.
The new filters provide effective protection against transient overvoltages and RFI. The built-in overvoltage protection function protects both the input and output side of the filter from overvoltage. Filters in the FIL product family have additional PE connection points. This improves the filtering effect of high frequency noise between active wires and ground potential. Thus, an EMC-optimized installation and an improved protective effect are also achieved for EMC filters in plastic housings. The new EMC filters are available with push-in and screw connection technology.
