Soft starter 37kW, 75A, built-in Powtran bypass

KSD90 soft start device is used for soft start and stop of three-phase asynchronous electric motors.

Built-in bypass contactor helps to save time and money during equipment commissioning.

The LCD panel of the operator makes it easier to work with a smooth start and makes its programming easier.

The use of a soft-start device with three-phase switching allows to reduce the starting currents of asynchronous electric motors, the phase shift during start-up ensures a smooth stepless acceleration of the electric motor.

The use of soft start devices makes it possible to achieve the following results:
– extending the life of the electric motor due to the reduction of hard starting loads;
– Reducing the load on the electrical network during the start-up of powerful electric motors;
– Increasing the capacity of the power grid;
– reduction of loads on the power substation transformer;
– exclusion of voltage drop in the network at the time of starting powerful electric motors;

Supported soft start modes:
– starting with starting current limitation;
– start-up with constant voltage increase;
- start with a jerk;
– start-up with constant current increase;
– start-up with double regulation (current and voltage);
– the possibility of reversible starting of the motor in the Inching mode.

Supported stop modes:
– smooth stop;
- coasting stop.

Provided protection against:
- high and low voltage;
– loss and phase distortion;
– Exceeding the starting current;
– Short circuit;
– Automatic restart;
– Idling.

Control is available from the built-in LCD panel and external terminals.
Printed boards are covered with acrylic varnish.
The operating temperature range is -10...+40oC
