Triac temperature controller TTS2000 is designed to maintain a given temperature by changing the power of three-phase electric heaters operating from a network voltage of 380 ± 415 V.
It allows you to control the load connected in a star or delta circuit (including an asymmetric load when connected in a delta).
Power regulation occurs due to changes in the on and off times of the heater's full power (proportional time control). The cycle time is set in the range of 6-120 seconds. The load is switched by semiconductor devices (triacs) at the moment when the current and voltage on the heater are equal to zero. This reduces energy consumption, eliminates the occurrence of electromagnetic interference and increases the uptime of the equipment. The controller has contacts for connecting external temperature sensors, one of which can be used to limit the maximum or minimum temperature.
The controller automatically changes the control law in accordance with the dynamics of the control object. For a rapidly changing temperature, for example, when regulating the supply air temperature, it operates in proportional-integral control mode with a fixed proportional band of 20 K and an integration time of 6 minutes. For a slowly changing temperature, for example, when regulating the temperature in the room, it works in proportional control mode with a fixed proportional band of 1.5 K. The controller provides for lowering the temperature during the night using the NS / D unit.
If the power of the electric heater exceeds the maximum permissible for the regulator, then the load can be divided into several stages and controlled using the auxiliary unit TT-S1, TT-S4 / D or TT-S6 / D together with the TTC2000 regulator.
